Monoject Safety IV Access Blunt Cannulas with Syringe (Monoject 8881202033) or without Syringe (Monoject 8881202017) protects both patients and caregivers from accidental needle sticks when using IV supplies. It is designed to assist with the transfer of fluids and medication into veins and specifically fit for use with the Abbott LifeShield System. The Monoject Blunt Cannula for Safe IV Access is sterile to reduce the risk of infection or disease with use. It has a polypropylene hub that is compatible with luer lock syringes and measures one inch long. The cannula is made of stainless steel and measures eighteen gauge.
